Description
This looks to be the first prestige Champagne produced from certified organic grapes. It is a unique cuvée combining fruit from three renowned biodynamic producers: Chardonnay from David Leclepart, Pinot Noir from Benoit Lahaye, and Pinot Meunier from Vincent Laval. Under the careful guidance of Benoit Marguet, these grapes are blended to create a ‘super-cuvée’ with exceptional balance and expression. It is then aged extensively, and released when at its peak. On the nose it opens with bright citrus peel, blood-orange, subtle floral notes and a hint of toasted oak. The palate is taut and energetic, with fine mousse, crisp acidity, chalk-driven minerality and a textured mid-palate showing apple and gentle spice. The finish is long, saline, and refined, leaving lingering impressions of citrus, wet stone, and almond. This Champagne is elegant, precise, and built to age gracefully.
