Description
Henri Giraud Hommage au Pinot Noir NV is a non-vintage, blanc de noirs Champagne produced by Henri Giraud in Aÿ, France. Established in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ in the 17th Century, Champagne Henri Giraud is one of the oldest family-run wine estates in the Champagne region. The estate is managed by Claude Giraud, 12th generation of the Giraud-Hémart family, and a vigneron especially renowned for his craftsmanship with Pinot Noir. Generally Giraud`s wines are vinified in oak barrels, lending a subtly oxidative richness to the final Champagnes. Hommage au Pinot Noir is matured for 36 months in bottle. Toasty with soft dried and red-berry fruit notes, a saline minerality and subtle spiciness.
