Description
Stephan Reinhardt of Wine Advocate writes: "Eric Rodez, who started with the mediocre 1984 vintage, is the eighth generation of the family domaine in Ambonnay. Since the 2014 harvest, with Mickael, generation number nine is on board as well. Eric and Mickael have reorganized the range of the domaine, which farms six hectares of vines exclusively in Ambonnay and according to biodynamic principles (Demeter certified)...the dense and complex Empreinte de Terroir, a vintaged terroir wine made from Pinot Noir sourced in five or six parcels, combines younger and older vines averaging about 40 years."
